Arts and Crafts Coordinator

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, the Arts and Crafts Coordinator will supervise art and crafts programs and activities, maintain the safety of the guests, and assure that the camp’s program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. More information


Camp Bus Driver

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, the Bus Driver will provide leadership to the transportation sites of all summer program routes. The Bus Driver will be responsible for providing safe transportation to and from program sites. The Bus Driver may also need to provide support in other areas as needed. More information


Camp Lifeguard

Under the direction of the Waterfront Coordinator, the Lifeguard will be responsible for supervising of all camp aquatic activities including swim instruction, canoe and kayak instruction, banana and pontoon boating, and sailing. S/he will maintain the safety of the campers and staff and ensure the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. More information


Camper Services

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, Camper Services is responsible for monitoring daily attendance, coordinating late drop offs and early checkouts, maintaining the safety of the campers and staff, and ensuring the Camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Day Camp Counselor

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, the Day Camp Counselor is responsible for supervising his/her activity group, maintaining the safety of the campers, and ensuring the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. More information


Day Camp Pack Leader

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, the Pack Leader is responsible for supervising his/her Pack, managing their team of counselors and activity group, maintaining the safety of the campers, and ensuring the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Camp Head Lifeguard

Under the direction of the Waterfront Coordinator, the Head Lifeguard is responsible for the direct supervision, control, organization, and scheduling of Lifeguards for the beach and pool areas. Head Lifeguard will observe lifeguards, the pool, and pool area and take the proper corrective action as required. S/he is responsible for the appearance, presentation and working order of the pool and beach areas; s/he will check pool chemical levels according to schedule, maintain and adjust chemical levels as directed, and report any chemical problems or hazards to the Waterfront Coordinator or Camp Director. The Head Lifeguard will supervise the care and safety of all campers and staff at all water activities and ensure the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Music Coordinator

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, the Music Coordinator will supervise music programs and activities, maintain the safety of the guests, and assure that the camp’s program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. More information


Waterfront Coordinator

Under the direction of the Day Camp Director, the Lake/Pool Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision, control, organization, and scheduling of Lifeguards and other staff for all aquatic areas. S/he will supervise the care and safety of all campers and staff at all water activities and ensure the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Boating Coordinator

Under the direction of the Waterfront Coordinator, the Boating Coordinator will supervise the care and safety of all campers and staff at all boating activities and ensure the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. More information


Photographer/Videographer

Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Photographer/Videographer is responsible for capturing magical moments with campers and staff via photography and video and uploading to the website and other platforms. More information


Program Assistant

Under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Assistant Staff will assist Camp staff in a variety of tasks required to ensure a positive camper and guest experience. Although not in direct supervision of campers, the Program Assistant Staff will prioritize the safety of all campers and staff and ensure the camp’s daily programs are able to run efficiently and with the highest quality. Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Resident Camp Counselor is responsible for supervising his/her cabin and activity group, maintaining the safety of the campers, and ensuring the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Health Lodge Assistant

Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Health Lodge Assistant is responsible for participating in the daily operations of the Health Center and cooperating with overall coordination of the health of the camp community. More information


Resident Camp Nurse

Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Camp Nurse is responsible for the coordination of the operations of the Health Lodge Center, supervision of health lodge assistants, and assisting with overall coordination of the health of the camp community. More information


Resident Camp Program Coordinator

Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Assistant Resident Camp Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision, control, organization, and scheduling of Resident Camp Programs and supporting services at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan areas. S/he will be responsible for following all procedures and policies, and to ensure the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Village Leader

Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Resident Camp Village Leader is responsible for supervising his/her cabin and village, maintaining the safety of the campers and staff, and ensuring the camp’s daily program is run efficiently through detailed supervision and objective decision making. Ropes Coordinator

Under the direction of the Resident Camp Director, the Ropes Coordinator is responsible for maintaining communication with all Ropes staff and ensuring that the department runs smoothly and meets all goals. This person will ensure that Ropes staff have all needed supplies as well as provide leadership and direction when needed. The Ropes Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing our unique challenge course attractions: The Big Buzz Tower, Giant Swing, Double-Zip Line, Mt Widji and the Low Ropes elements.
