The Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center is 480 acres of wooded hills, open fields, and lakefront trails — just 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. Whether you’re bringing 20 people or 300, we’ll help you plan a retreat or event that fits your goals, your group, and your budget. Hundreds of organizations host events here every year, and most come back.

Groups We Work With

• Churches and religious organizations — Youth retreats, women’s and men’s retreats, church-wide family weekends, leadership planning, and summer kids camps. We host more church retreats than any other type of event.
• Businesses, nonprofits, and corporate teams — Staff retreats, leadership off-sites, strategic planning days, and team-building events. Half-day and multi-day formats available.
• Schools and educational organizations — Student leadership retreats, staff professional development days, end-of-year celebrations, field trips, and curriculum-aligned outdoor education led by trained YMCA educators.
