Overnight Camp Inspires Youth (Grades 3-9)

The Overnight Camp at Widjiwagan encourages campers to grow in spirit, mind, and body by offering exciting adventures and fun summer experiences that build character, independence and confidence. Each day, counselors create exciting adventures while passing along life lessons that will remain with campers for a lifetime.

Hot summer days splashing in the lake and crisp evenings under the stars around a glowing campfire make up the perfect day at Widjiwagan Overnight Camp. Bunk up with the best camp buddies you will ever have in comfortable camp cabins. Cabins are air-conditioned with full bathrooms and staffed by three caring, role model camp counselors. Campers will love the food at the dining hall to replenish their energy for the ultimate fun of the camp days and nights.

Through the years our goal has remained the same:
To plant seeds of Christian Character in kids and families, creating an impact in Nashville and neighboring communities through outdoor programs designed to encourage participants to know the person of Jesus Christ and to grow in spirit, mind and body.

Widjiwagan is an Ojibwa word meaning close, lifelong friend. Because of the nature of teamwork required at Camp Widjiwagan, campers will not only learn more about themselves and their surroundings; they will create lasting friendships, too.
