Parents and siblings can experience fun and excitement of camp during our Family Day for each session. Registered campers and their immediate family are invited to tour, play, view tribe assignments, and meet your child's counselor. This is a great time to ask questions and familiarize yourself with camp! All of the most popular activities will be open for the entire family to enjoy!
Family Day
- Yellow and Green: Mon, May 27 from 11am-4pm

These days are reserved for camper to experience Camp Widjiwagan with their families. No bus service will be provided and an adult must accompany all campers.
Canoe with a Parent Program
During each session, Camp Widjiwagan will offer parents a chance to bring their child to camp for a morning activity, providing opportunities to form a stronger bond with their camper. Strong families are at the heart of the core values taught by the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and Camp Widjiwagan. Having a strong relationship with you will help your child to strengthen confidence, forge friendships, and sharpen character throughout his or her life.
Activities run from 7:30am-8:30am, and will include canoeing and kayaking. Continental breakfast will be served.
